More than 1600 competitors, coaches, referees, and instructors from 49 countries will gather near Varna, Bulgaria, from July 5 to 12, 2026, for the 20th anniversary edition of the International Martial Arts Summer Camp. This year’s event marks two decades of successful international cooperation and the development of martial arts and combat sports worldwide.
For eight days, Bulgaria will become a global hub for martial arts, bringing together representatives of different schools and nations for training, competitions, and the exchange of experience. Camp participants will take part in an intensive program featuring daily Kyokushin karate and K1 training sessions, specialized Iaido classes, and refereeing seminars to enhance professional qualifications and sporting excellence.
The anniversary edition of the international camp will also host a series of prestigious international events. On July 7, the World Cup “Varna” in Kyokushin Karate for juniors and cadets will bring together some of the most promising young athletes from around the world.
On July 9 and 10, attention will turn to the third edition of the KWU SENSHI World Cup for Amateurs 2026, which will take place at the sports hall of Kamchia Resort Complex. The tournament will feature 48 competitors across eight weight categories. Qualification bouts are scheduled for July 9, while the semifinals and finals will determine the new world champions on the following day.
The highlight of the martial arts week will be the international professional fight gala SENSHI 32 Grand Prix on July 11. At the beach arena in St. St. Constantine and Helena Resort, Varna, 16 fighters from 13 countries will compete in an elimination tournament in the up to 85 kg division, which will crown the new SENSHI Grand Prix champion in the category. The event will also feature two super fights.
With its twentieth edition, the International Martial Arts Summer Camp further strengthens its position as one of the largest and most significant martial arts forums in the world. Combining high-level training, international tournaments, and professional bouts, this week dedicated to martial arts and combat sports transforms the Bulgarian Black Sea coast into a major meeting point for the global martial arts community from every continent.
