On March 7, the KWU SENSHI Chile / FCHKC organized an Official Instructors Course at the Valdivia Dojo KWU SENSHI, bringing together instructors and advanced practitioners for a day dedicated to technical alignment and organizational development. The initiative aimed to strengthen the structure of the organization by aligning instructors with the official grading program and reinforcing the shared standards of training across all affiliated dojos. Participation in the course was open to dojo instructors, black belts, and practitioners holding the rank of 1st Kyu, reflecting the organization’s commitment to the preparation of qualified leaders within the Kyokushin community.
Training Program
The event began at 10:00 AM and was divided into two main sessions. The morning session focused on the grading program, providing instructors with a detailed review of the technical standards required for belt examinations and ensuring consistency in teaching methods across the organization. After a lunch break, the afternoon session continued with a refereeing course, aimed at developing and updating referees within the organization. Referees who did not participate in the instructors course were also able to join this second session.
Participation and Registration
Due to space limitations at the Valdivia Dojo KWU SENSHI, the course was limited to 30 participants. The participation fee was 10,000 CLP, which included the training sessions, lunch, and refreshments during the event.
With initiatives such as this, KWU SENSHI Chile continued to invest in the technical development of instructors and referees, strengthening the growth of Kyokushin Karate and the organizational structure of the network in the region.
