A friendly tournament, organized by Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan

A friendly tournament between Khost, Paktya, and Ghazni

successfully held in Khost province.

On Friday 22 January 2016, in Southeast region Khost province, a friendly tournament between Paktya Khost and Ghazni provinces successfully held in municipality conference Hall Khost city. The tournament organized by Sensei Rahmanullah Wisal Mangal under the Leadership of Sensei Sabiri.

The aim of this tournament was to select 2016 provincial and regional team for the upcoming open national tournament and also to increase friendship, mutual understanding, and to improve and develop Kyokushin Karate in the provinces.

According to thae schedule all invited guest teams arrived on Thursday, the team were welcomed. After that the technical committee Sensei Noor Agha Hashimi and Sensei Sabiri jointly managed the weight-draws in different ten categories including children, Cadet, juniors, and seniors. Overall total 50 fighters are enrolled from three provinces.

As per the schedule the tournament started at 09:30am on Friday, whereas more than five hundred spectators watched this remarkable event. The tournament toke place on professional manner by delegations (supreme Judges, Corner Judges and other organizing committee) the competitions demonstrated their talents and in Karate sprits, they participated in friendly environment with mutual respect.

The tournament ended up late evening, as a result of calculated marks in winning categories, Khost province got first position meanwhile Paktya second and Ghazni third position. During the prize distribution program petrogen oil company awarded cash prizes to four different champions of different weight categories in which 5000 Afs. cash prize awarded to Essa Shabab champion from Paktya, similarly 4000 Afs. Cash prize awarded to Arafatullah champion from Khost, Zayed Almas champion cash prize 3000 Afs. from Paktya and 2000 Afs. Cash prize awarded to Masiullah Ahmadi from Ghazni province. Thanks to Petrogen oil company for supporting and the Karatekas athletes.

The Head of Khost provincial Sports and physical education department Abdul Aziz Malang appreciated and welcomed the guest including delegations from Kabul, Paktya, and Nangrahar provinces and as well as guest teams from Ghazni province. During the awards distribution time Head of Khost Sports Aziz Malang awarded a gold medal to Sensei Sabiri for his outstanding support and assistance with Khost Kyokushin-kan provincial branch, similarly, bronze medal awarded to Sensei Hashimi and silver medal to Sensei Wisal Mangal. Head of Khost Sports and physical education department Abdul Aziz Malang appreciated this event and expressed their gratitude’s to Afghanistan Kyokushin-kan Karate do Organization.

At the end, Adil Social Foundation presented souvenir-awards to Sensei Noor Agha Hashimi, Sensei Maqbool Shah Gardiwal and Sensei Ghulam Ali Ahmadi.

The tournament toke place under the supervision of Sensei Noor Agha Hashimi Vice-presentiment of Kyokushin-kan Afghanistan, and Sensei Mohammadulah Sabiri Southeast Area Chief In addition, this tournament could not have been held with a good quality without the cooperation and technical support of Sensei Maqbool Shah, Nangrahar Provincial Chief, Sensei Sensei Ghulam Ali Ahmadi Ghazni Chief, Ihsanullah Ihsan, Abdul Basir Rashidi, Sayed Hamid Hashimi and Zaristan.
